Our Story

MegLek Kitchen was built from Chef Margaret’s love for real Nigerian flavour and her passion for global cuisine. With culinary school training, 15+ years of hands-on cooking experience, and serving Nigerian meals as a business since at least 2017, she created MegLek to make bold, satisfying food easy to enjoy — without the shopping, prepping, or long hours in the kitchen. From smoky, tasty Jollof to intercontinental favourites, every dish is designed to feel like home and still surprise you.

What Makes Us Different

We don’t cut corners — because flavour and quality deserve better. Everything is made from scratch, including the foundations that make our meals taste rich and authentic (like Jollof rice prepared with chicken broth made in-house). We cook with fresh spices like ginger and thyme, source from local stores to keep ingredients fresh, and use premium ingredients and high-quality meats to deliver meals that feel restaurant-level, every time.
